Not only do these jets cost gobs of money, but the training of the pilots and servicing personnel must cost a penny too. How many kids could we send to advanced schooling for this same amount of money?
While flying at high speed that close to the ground takes balls, and it does feel good to scatter dirt as you kick your plane in the ass, but the fuel bill has also got to be sickening. These guys are sitting in the middle of a bunch of wrongly spent money, just so a few can feel good. A dude with a drum at the head of a platoon will do the same thing, if not more.
