**********Update***********
ROFLMFAO!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!.
The moonbat kiss of death has claimed another victim. Captains Quarters has this news:
Only an idiot would attempt to make a president the enemy during wartime, especially for an action that he performed in defense of the country. In fact, the 9/11 Commission specifically scolded the Bush and Clinton administrations for not allowing the NSA to do its job and surveil international communications. The Republicans would be happy to have that debate, especially with someone who wouldn’t vote to continue allowing counterterrorism agents to use the same legal tools provided to investigators in racketeering and child-pornography cases.
Fortunately for the Republicans, Feingold demonstrated that he is that big a fool. Other Democrats were not as sanguine about the proposal, sensing that scolding a president over a program supported by a solid majority of the electorate would fall flat with swing voters. After Bill Frist scheduled an immediate vote, Democrats objected, and when he scheduled a vote for tomorrow morning, they complained that Harry Reid had not been consulted on the motion. That sent a clear signal that Feingold had gone off the reservation, as no one who read a paper or watched the national news could have missed Feingold’s highly-telegraphed move.
ROFLMFAO!!!……wheh let me catch my breath. Man are these freaking moonbats gonna learn?

I guess it should really be Russ Feingold but that wouldn’t be any fun. As most of you probably know Russ Feingold announced on This week with George Snufalufagus that he was introducing a resolution to Censure George W. Bush for violating the constitution. Feingold huffed and puffed for some time but never actually mentioned any case law or precedent to back his position. Do you think he avoided that because he knows he is full of crap? If you haven’t read the transcript of the debate between civil rights attorney Glenn Greenwald and constitutional law professor Robert Turner then do it now. You will see a convincing argument that GWB did not violate the constitution.
Let’s see what reddhedd had to say in
Action Steps for the Feingold “Censure Bush” Proposal ?
I have a request: Russ Feingold really stuck his neck out today, and it would be great if he — and every other Senator — knew that we had his back. It’s a gutsy move, not without risk in the polarized environment that is Washington these days and with the hatchet squad that Rove and his ilk generally deploy when their actions are questioned, so you have to hand it to Sen. Feingold for having the guts to raise the censure issue — not just in the privacy of his office or at home, but right there on national television for all the world to hear.
So, what am I asking you to do? Something small by comparison, but if enough of us do this, it could start a little snowball rolling down the hill. By the time it reaches bottom, who knows how big it will have gotten — but I sure like the sound of the word avalanche, so I say we get it going.
ahhhh Reddhead the only ball you are about to get rolling is the Democrats next embarrassing defeat. As long as Democratic Congressmen and Senators are dancing to people like Reddhedd’s toon the Democratic Party is doomed to permanent minority status.
The fun is just getting started. Lets take a look at the comments section ok?

my emails went out today and I will make those follow up calls with absolute delight. This will be fun! Here I come again, Sununu and Gregg! Your wish is my command.
angieConsider it done. Fax en route already, with a follow-up call to local Senate office tomorrow morning.
RayneExcellent idea, as always. Count me in.

Alex has an even better idea:
How about my slightly less popular; arrest bush and put him in jail, idea?

Then there is just your everyday moonbattery:
CRC - why do they need to take folks’ guns - they’ve taken our kids to die and murder in Iraq, they’ve spied on us, used our money to pay for torture, run us into forever debt, … you know the list - and I don’t see any big revolt with guns blazing - so what, they might not let us vote in a Diebold controlled farce to elect repub or repub lite? they’ve already suspended the constitution, just not called it that … what more can they do?
we’re about to bomb iran and start goddess knows what - there are still dead bodies rotting in NOLA and kids who’ve never been reunited with their families - and the people of iraq are dying daily … it’s a little hard to see what more …

Bush is by definition a dead-ender, but the phrase sweeps in the entire cabal of incompetent and stubborn evil-doers.
punaiseWouldn’t try that in east county around here. Skinheads, klan and neonazi everywhere.
california_reality_checkJust watching Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and am reintroduced to the Dementors– reminds of this administration.

This was my favorite:
A censure of Bush means almost nothing. While it might be nice to see a little chink in his armor, censuring him is like putting a band-aid on someone’s cut juggular vein. We need impeachment, and in my opinion, a Nurenberg style War Crimes Tribunal. Anything short of that is dishonoring the tens of thousands of dead Iraqis that have resulted from Bush’s imperial adventure. If we are going to push for something, let’s push for impeachent, not some bullshit censure!

Once again, the Left is showing that it doesn’t understand what it takes to win back the Congress or Presidency. Getting bogged down with political stunts has not worked for over 10 years — and it will continue to not work.
I posted a couple of comments to that effect over there before I saw your post, Ugly. Under the (aaaar) name of Henry Jennings.

Today, I posted a few mild comments over at “Fire Dog Lake“, a lefty blog that’s on a rant at the moment about the impending introduction of Russ Feingold’s censure resolution.
